A Minecraft: Java Edition launcher for Linux and Windows that stays out of the way of the game. In development by steelaspect.

What it will do
Alloy is still being built. This is the plan for 1.0.
- Light on your PC
- Built with Rust and Tauri. While you play, the window closes completely and a small tray process keeps watch, so Minecraft gets the memory.
- Every loader
- Vanilla, Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Forge, with snapshots when you want them. Each instance keeps its own mods, worlds and settings.
- Mods from Modrinth, CurseForge and GitHub
- One search across all of them. Required dependencies install themselves, and updates wait for you to review the changelog first.
- Microsoft sign-in, kept local
- Sign in with your Microsoft account. Tokens stay in your system keyring. Nothing about you is collected or sent anywhere else.
- Crash help that names the mod
- When the game crashes, Alloy reads the log and points at the likely cause: a missing dependency, a mixin conflict, the wrong Java, or memory.
- Skins, servers and worlds
- A 3D skin viewer and skin library, one-click server joining, and tools to copy worlds between instances.
